The Westmount Y centre is located west of downtown Montreal and serves individual members, families and seniors in Westmount, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Saint-Henri, Little Burgundy and Pointe-Saint-Charles.
Do yourself some good … so you can do good for others
The Westmount Y is a complete fitness centre with state-of-the-art equipment. It offers a wide variety of classes taught by energetic instructors, as well as the services of private trainers. It also has many teams and sports clubs. Last year, the Westmount Y Masters Swim Club ranked second in Québec.
There are also numerous specialized programs, including those for seniors and those with arthritis, so they can ease into physical activity in a safe and reassuring environment.
A community of partners
The Westmount Y centre serves the needs of youth, seniors and families, in partnership with social organizations and an outstanding network of volunteers. Youth activities include the very popular and stimulating after-school programs. The centre also has a highly acclaimed day camp, where youngsters discover activities and tools for personal and social development, as well as a leadership program. The camp can also accommodate special-needs children.
For seniors, the Westmount Y centre has introduced programs to help them enjoy a healthy lifestyle, with rewarding relationships and a positive outlook on life.
The Westmount Y centre enjoys the outstanding support of nearly 100 volunteers and many donors. Close to 6,000 people use its programs and services every year.
