The Foundation of The YMCAs of Québec is managed by a Board of Directors whose Directors
are responsible for implementing the mission of the Foundation which includes:
- Creating an annual fundraising plan to support YMCA programs and strengthen its
philanthropic role.
- Supporting a major campaign (such as presenting a number of initiatives – programs
and infrastructures – to significantly increase the number of individuals who benefit
from our actions).
Mission
The Foundation of the YMCAs of Québec supports The YMCAs of Québec Association and
ensures its sustainability by promoting the impact of its community action, by raising
the funds to support it, and by administering these funds responsibly.
Vision 2014
The Foundation of the YMCAs of Québec is the partner of choice for volunteers and
donors wishing to improve the well-being of children and youth in the regions where
The YMCAs of Québec Association is present.
The Board of Directors of the Foundation is composed of 20 members elected during
the General Assembly of the Foundation. The term of each Director is of two (2)
years from the date of election, with no limitation on the number of terms.
The Directors can take all necessary measures to allow the Foundation to solicit,
accept, or receive donations and bequests of any kind in order to fulfill its mission
and that of the YMCA.
