At the Y centres you’ll find a wide range of fitness facilities: training rooms, cardiovascular equipment, jogging tracks, pools, gyms, and squash and racquetball courts. Everything you’ll need to strengthen your heart, your muscles, and your spirit.
The Y offers the most extensive array of group classes of any fitness centre in Québec. All that’s left to do is choose: aerobics, toning or aero-toning? Cardio-cycle or Pilates? Yoga or karate? Hip-hop, modern dance, or salsa? More than enough classes to keep you active.
Feel like going for a dip? The Y makes it easy for you by offering numerous individual, family, and group activities. Come swim some laps, improve your swimming style, participate in an aquafitness class, and much more!
Team sports and clubs
Whether it be a team sport such as soccer, volleyball, and basketball, or a club* such as running, hiking, and master’s swim, the Y centres have organized groups providing fun fitness activities that sometimes have a competitive element. * In certain centres.
The Y strives to include everyone by offering classes and activities for pregnant women, mothers and their children, prevention classes for seniors, as well as fitness activities adapted for people with heart problems, arthritis, or various disabilities.
