Eight weeks of outdoor activity with proper care and safety for adults and children of all levels. By referring a friend* you can choose to receive either a $35 refund at the end of the season or a credit for the same amount which will be applied to the following season.

PLEASE NOTE:
Of the choices above, the most requested stops will be chosen. The YMCA reserves the right to change the bus stops according to the location and number of participants. Bus schedule and route will be relayed to you approximately one week before the start of the program. For the YAHOO program, the YMCA centres are our preferred stops.

SPECIAL NEEDS:
The YMCA Ski School may provide services for children with special needs. To find out if we are able to meet the particular needs of your child, please contact us as soon as possible.

GROUP OUTINGS:
Either for a group of friends, coworkers or employees, let us organize a ski and/or snowboarding outing for you. All you have to do is get on the bus and prepare yourself for a fun-filled day on the slopes – we take care of the rest! Please contact us for further details.

SUBSTITUTION POLICY:
If a member is unable to attend a ski or snowboard program on a particular day, that member may designate a substitute. This person will be allowed to ski but will not be eligible for lessons. The substitute may only attend on the day that the member is absent and must take the same bus as the absent person. No refund will be given on the cost of a missed lesson. The YMCA Ski School will require at least 24 hours in advance: the name, phone number and Medicare card number of the substitute.

REFUND POLICY:
Refunds will only be issued upon receipt of a written request, prior to the first day of the program. No reimbursement will be issued for days missed by participants. A $50 administrative fee will be charged for all refunds issued. For medical reasons only, participants may receive a reimbursement after the start of the program. Reimbursements will be made on a prorated basis based on the number of weeks completed from the time the request is received plus the $50 administrative fee. To receive a reimbursement for medical reasons, participants must send us a doctor's note indicating that the participant is unable to ski or snowboard for the duration of the season. A $15 fee will apply for all refused payments (cheque or credit card).
