Step one: Sign up!

The YMCAs of Québec offers you the opportunity to participate in the “On your mark, get set, ACTION!” program which will develop your leadership skills by organizing projects with a cause! By getting involved with a project, you will develop your leadership, teamwork and communication skills.

Leadership training is provided to all program participants in order to adequately prepare for their development of social and engaging projects. Please contact the head of the program to find out the dates of the next training session.

Step two: Choose your project!

You and Me Against Aids. Fight the battle against HIV/AIDS. Training offered by organizations from the milieu. Have your voice and ideas heard in the fight against AIDS. Raise awareness within the population of Québec on the reality of HIV/AIDS around the world.

Stop child trafficking. Fight child trafficking (prostitution, domestic and farming work, child soldiers). Develop educational tools. Raise awareness on child trafficking.

Youth Festival. Participate in the organization of a show for a cause. Celebrate local artistic talents and put them to use for a good cause.

Leader’s camp. Organize a youth gathering. Prepare 5 days of workshops, activities, discoveries, and learning with youth from the Americas. Develop your skills in teamwork, project management and communication.
