National Lifeguard Service

This program helps develop the lifesaving skills, sound judgment, maturity, and sense of responsibility required of a lifeguard. Participants will learn how to detect emergency situations and respond to them effectively. The course is focused on the development of lifesaving skills and the decision-making process that will help lifeguards assess and adapt to various situations and emergencies that can occur in water.
 
To participate in this program you need to have completed the Bronze Cross Award and Standard First Aid with CPR Level C. The exam is included in the course fee. Manuals are available for purchase. This course requires 100% attendance and participation in order to complete the core component.
